| MacGregor Warning on foreign sourced PCM9XII transmitter |

| MacGregor have examined a foreign sourced PCM9XII transmitter. This was originally a 72MHz set and has a different switch configuration and software to the MacGregor version. The model number isNET-N239FS, as marked on the front left hand switch plate.
There CE test certification will therefore not apply to these foreign sets. MacGregor sets are marked NET239ES and have a MacGregor/JR label in the centre Buyers of foreign sets are urged to seek reassurance that these sets have been fully tested before they buy and should not just rely on the fact that they have a small CE sticker inside the module recess The BMFA have informed us that their insurer could decline to defend a claim from a modeller using illegal equipment.

| The Szabos join the Carbon Xtreme Avant Team |

Alan Szabo Jr. and Danny Szabo have joined the Avant Team with Alan Szabo Sr. as the new Team Manager. This news comes as 3D Masters is only a few weeks away. The Szabo's will fly the new Aurora which uses the Avant Programmable Head, first seen in upgrade form and the helicopter is very slim with a low frontal area, which should make it very slippery. The model has been designed with a low parts count, making it easy to repair and maintain.

| The 12Z radio presents an excellent opportunity to appeal to competitive modelers on ALL levels: a system with breakthrough technology that’s user-friendly AND priced right! It shares many of the features that have made the 14MZ the most talked-about radio in R/C — starting with the dual internal processors, real-time response with 2048 PCM, fully synthesized receiver, servo grouping, variable dual rates and quad-bearing gimbals. And that’s just the beginning! |
