Kinross Heli Fun Fly

Hi Guys, this will be a new one for your calendars. On Saturday the 17th of May 2008, Kinross Radio Model Flying Club are pleased to be holding a Heli Fun Fly. Proof of insurance will be required to fly on the day, and visitors and newbies are most welcome and can practice with a qualified pilot alongside. I’m also hoping to have a couple of SAA examiners at the event for those requiring testing. We’ll have Tea, Coffee, Soup and Burgers to keep us fuelled up during the day. So who fancies coming along? This is my first attempt at arranging an event, so hopefully the weather gods will be kind, and also send us plenty of pilots to make it a great day out.

Due to a clash with the SAA Castle Kennedy event and a lack of examiners, I have decided to re-schedule the Kinross heli fun fly for Saturday the 24th of May. Same Fun but a week later!!

Cheers Brian, thats in hand and should be changed within the next few days, as will our web site. I've justed travelled to my work in Azerbaijan so I'm a bit behind with the clerical gunf, but should get it all done soon. Thanks for the heads up, and hope to see you on the 24th.

Hi guy's, Kinross Heli Fun Fly this Saturday starts 10am. Gonna have a raffle, and burger van on site. Also if you want to sell anything, then please feel free to bring it along. I have a Rappy 60 for sale so will be bringing this. Who's all coming anyway? Hopefully the weather will be kind. See you all soon.

I cant make it guys..working tomorrow unfortunately. Couldn't get a swap at work..Saturdays are hard for obvious reasons. By the time I could leave (around 12-30) its just not worth the travel down... Sad

Whilst I'm here I'm trying to get a few folk together to meet up at Waterfoot on Sunday 1st June for a 3D flying/intro/get together if anyone is interested..were talking basic aeros upwards loop/roll/stall turn etc..extreme hovering! Shocked
