I am looking for my first scale project, as I currently own a Sceadu 50 Evo and would like something different.
I have looked at the Century Twinstar ARF, and was wondering if anybody can tell me if the century scale helicopters are any good ?
I know they are not "super scale" in terms of shape, (I will probably modify the skids at a later stage to make them look more scale) but for a first scale project maybe ?
any advice would be greatly appreciated |

Hi
The Century Twinstar is made by funkey and is ok but its designed for 30 size mechanics originally shuttle.
This is an unpainted one I did a couple of years ago
Have a look
Here
for size comparisons
If you want to do a twin star Thunder Tiger have released a 50 size for the raptor, but with some work should fit your Sceadu |

Hi Alex, thanks for your reply
After searching the internet looking for info, i decided not to go for the twinstar kit.
Instead i am going to order the Century Bell 222 artf (30 size), as it seems to get good reviews and there are plenty of articles on the internet about it.
I plan to fit an O.S 37 for good measure !
In terms of scale outline it seems a little better than the twinstar, would you agree ?
Thanks
Stuart |
