Hi All,
As per the question - when the throttle is at its minimum - is it fully closed?
I had a disconcerting experience today - the throttle was shut down to the stop - it wont go any further - and yet the engine raced. Luckily I had a good hold of the head and managed to shut the fuel off. The clutch stank - obviously it was burning!!
Its an OS 30 engine on a raptor 30.
Yes I had just fitted a new exhaust a hatori thingy It was its first engine start on the new exhaust. Yes Alex didn't like it when I told him I had bought it...he...he now I know why...
Low throttle, trim fully down , you want the engine to stop,
Dont really understand the question, set the throttle to close when trim fully down, thats it, you will not have any more problems, was the tx on the right model , did someone set model up for you before ,
Hard to say exactly whats the matter, go to falkirk next Sunday and someone al have a look, it will be easy to fix, so dont panic, _________________ Stephen
Cheers Stephen,
Yes, basically the throttle is closed -it can't go any further, and it revs high.
I thought throttle closed - no air getting to the engine it just wouldn't run. Not in this case!
I'm going to remove the Hatori pipe and source a standard Raptor muffler to see if it will behave itself!
Nothing has changed on the heli or Tx apart from the new Hatori muffler.
Thanks
Adrian
