Does anyone know were I can get a Uniflow tank bung for a Raptor 50. Or what have U used to convert your tank if you've done so?

Nigel Fraser Ker was making them but I just checked his site and he has stopped.
If you have access to a lathe all you need is a bung made up to fit the raptor tank then drill for three pipes and soldered them in. |

Alex, I'm suprised no ones jumped on the band wagon knocking these out. I have the uniflow setup in one of my my R60's and it works great, with no leaning at the bottom of the tank, in fact a steady mixture from top to bottom. So no messing with the needles once the engines tuned.
So if there's anyone out there who fancies having a bash at making these replacement bungs, you can have an order from me. All thats required as Alex said, is to turn down a brass bung to fit the tank and grommit. Then drill two holes and fit two lengths of 1/8th bendable brass tube (available from www.inwoodmodels.co.uk), and silver solder in place. You then fit two clunk lines to the tubes. One line is pressure fed from the muffler, and the other is the fuel supply to the header, or direct to the engine (Fueling is done from the existing nipple on top of the tank).
For an explanation read the following article: http://www.fraserker.com/heli/uniflow/how_uniflow_works.htm |

here's how one was done in an evo tank, i guess you can use an evo bung & fitting on your raptor as long as you bathe it in holy water first
