Hi,
I started off with the FF6, its fine for the beginner. But the downfalls are that you cant set a 5 point pitch or throttle curve, or adjust the gyro gain from the transmitter. But if your just starting out it'll be fine for heli flying. The tranny has two modes Acro for planks, and heli. So you need to put the ff6 into heli mode when you get it. You will find the manual at the futaba site as stated in the previous thread.

To be honest you may be better stretching yourself for the FF7 or 9, as you will only find yourself shelling out again later, if the bug really gets you.
