Ok Guys I would like all your opinions on the ideal setup for a beginner, Model, engine, servos, radio and gyro. I am also looking for the best and worst deals for beginner’s setup, you know the shop that charges £650 for a nexus with MDS and a cheap radio. So don’t be shy name and shame.

The Beginer setup will be part of a new section as I keep geting asked this and the price comparison may be extended for more items so we all know where to get the best deal.

Raptor 30 and 50 are two good helis to start with
CSM 400 is a about £60 quid
Futaba 3001 servos
Futaba 9254 (expensive but makes such a diference)
0S Engines seem to be better than the matched tt engine (again you will pay for the extra performance.
you Could also consider a nice exhaust,Quieter and more power.
A set of nhp razors.

This should get you started and then some(maybe use woodies for a bit though).
