I have seen both being used sucessfully, Jr 3810 has some nice graphics ,
Futaba FF8,9 are used by some,
I use a ff6 for planes its ok and has some mixes like air brakes, flaperons for hovering ,
If you use the same as others in the club , it will make setting up much eaiser ,
As far as I have seen JR or Futaba are both tried and tested .
