sshhh you'll wake everyone up, only kidding Laughing , I have recently purchased an EVO 50 and i have ran about half a gallon of magnum through it so far, it is a great model and prefer it so much more than my raptor already.

I was at the Cumbernauld fly in last weekend, It was a bit windy but the Sunday was much better,
I saw alot of flying both days .Not many crashes, but the best one was when some idiot ditched their edge straight into a shrub.

I am not sure of his name or status within the SAA, although the aircraft flew very well untill this point.
As for me, the cougars beyond repair, raptor 50 has an engine with no bearings left, raptor 60 runs on gold bars and the giles is missing undercarriage .(you asked , whats more I am packing it all in and taking up knitting.)

The raptor 30 is a good heli and can 3d,
I think that gyro will be ok but would avoid mounting it on the fuel tank, I dont think ive seen that done but hey, it might work,
Suggested putting it on the plate at the back or front,(advice from someone else may be necessary though,

Hello Mike,
This has nothing to do with helicopters but I have just finished assembling a weston magnum with a west (50 v1 ) engine,
It will go 200mph full chat downwind with the wind blowing so should be fun for all of 3 mins whilst waiting for the raptor to cool down.
Pylon race anyone?(visit falkirk and you will understand.

Sorry alex I will not mention planes again.

Stephen

There's nothing wrong with planes that a 200mph crash with the ground won't fix

Thought about getting one as well, they'd be begging us at the club to fly our helicopters again......

????
Why a 200mph crash with the ground anyone can do that.

Idea How about a 400mph combined speed midair crash and kill 2 birds with one stone ( or 2 tx's).
Now that would really show the skill of the pilots and I am sure they would make some money from selling the video and then be able to go out and buy a nice heli Laughing

P.S.

Just got a Piccolo fun and Piccolo pro kits for xmas ( Midland helis) and today payed £40 for a hornet with 3 servos, speed controller and carbon blades Very Happy

What did evryone else get of santa Question
