I could meet you at the Inverurie Flying field at the weekend. We fly heli's there most weekends, and there are a couple of Guys in the Club with Raptor 50's. The field is about 35 minutes drive from Fraserburgh.

I gather you've got SAA/BMFA Insurance? You'd need that before flying at our field.

Have you found somewhere local to fly. I'm looking for somewhere to do some engine tuning before heading to the field.

If you joined the club and were able to manage some days at the field you would get a lot more value from the heli. We have miles of open space, miles from anywhere.
We have some good instructors at the club and if needed you would also be able have the safety net of a buddy box to get your confidence back.

I can't think of anywhere localy where I could even have the Raptor 30 flat out in FF, it would get a bit limiting eventually.

The club flies mostly raptors so there is a load of experience. I can check out your heli at the weekend, and you can decide whether to join us or not. If you do, then we can get stuck into training:-)

I've got some serious Silver Schedule practice to be ready for the end of March. So, if its daylight and dry I'll be there:-)

Your R50 seemed to have enough power at the moment for the stage you're at. The only suspect component was the CSM Gyro which I don't have any experience with, so hopefully someone else on this forum can give some CSM Gyro setup hints.

It was too cold today to do much tweaking anyway:-)

Hi Mike, have tried setting up my CSM again, still getting the same results, contacted CSM,but there solutions didnt help. They are going to check it over for me.Should get word back from them tomorrow, see whats the prob,it must have been damaged when I trashed my raptor 30.

Once I get it setup again, will come up by the site,to see the site in full swing.

Catch you later

Cotter
