HI ALL
After a few phone calls to the plank clubs in the peterborough area,
i have the feeling that helis are not wanted round here? so i still have not found a club to join yet.
is there anyone local to me who flys? {50 miles or so} and if so will you have time to show me stuff??
its just a thought

yes mate they seem rather put out when you tell them its helis you are going to do not planes, still it could be worse,i could have had a plank,,he he.but if they arnt flying helis why post on the BMFA ,,site its only wasting my time and theirs so it looks like plenty of sim time, I think i had better put the fury on hold ,and look for a heli made of rubber ,anyone else had this problem??

HI
I had a simlar problem the club I fly planes at are not
over heli welcome espically say on a sat/sun afternoon
hovering or learning on the run way wouldnt go down well.
espically as they stop flying at 4pm (not a problem this time
of year but summer a bugger)
So I got in touch with a farmer I know and now there are a
few of us that fly helis only at this new site. Theirs about
5 of us that fly here and going to cost us about 40 pounds
each per year to fly off this field. I wont allow planes to
fly from here.
if your intrested were based just north of Newark, if you
look at a map look for the A46 Lincoln to Newark. Then look
for the A133 off the A46 to collingham the first village past
Collingham Besthorpe is where we fly from. But I think
theres heli flyers at Barkston Health Grantham a bit closer.
It is probably a 30-40 min drive from peterbough!
helis flown are shuttles/raptors30/50 and concept 32vr.
