The Next 3D get together is at Aberdeen on Sunday 3rd August. Very Happy

http://www.aamfc.co.uk/index.php?page=7

Due to Aberdeen Aeromodellers Club offering the sole use of there site for the above meeting and the extensive size available to us, I have asked Alex to run a Scale Flightline and Mike a Clubman/FAI Intro line concurrently using a similiar format.

The format is to try and make 3D... and also Scale/FAI/Clubman, accessable to as many folks as possible regarless of ability level.

The aim of these Get Togethers is to develop and create a group of likewise minded modellers who are prepared to help each other, learn new skills and share experieces to the benifit of those around them in a friendly and sociable manner at a variety of different locations.

Again Please be aware This is no Fly-in or Comp but an oppurtunity for anyone to come along in a low key enviroment and have a flight or two in the company of like minded individuals. Everyone will be made most welcome. The only requirement being suitable Insurance SAA/BMFA

For the 3D guys we will have the Trex 700 Very Happy and hopefully some other stuff from Spartan rc and Aurorra

I will post further details as they become available and can be contacted via the Forum here.

Thanks Brian

So who is going ??

I do think we should all make the effort, barney has been traveling down to all our Fly-in for a couple of years now so we should try to go to his first Event.

I was planning on arriving at 10 ish, and about a 2 hour drive I think, although if anyone wants to offer a lift that would be great, just wondering if the heli field is operational yet, no where to fly at the mnoment, Cnauld is out due to amount of trainee plankers who now start as early as 9.30 on both weekend days so no use, but enough of the sob story, Aberdeen should be good, hopefully some suprises as well....

Falkirk heli field cut and cleared last weekend. Hoping to get early start on 3rd aug.
Be there at reasonable time.

Hi guys, just to let you know we can fly from 10am on Sunday and there is a BBQ and juice etc sorted. The field is closed to fixed wing so we should be able to get a few flying at the same time as the field is quite big.

Some guys were talking about coming up Saturday night and meeting for a few beers, if anyone is up for that we are meeting at the Soul bar on Union Street about 7:30ish, if you are interested give me a pm and I can give you my mobile number to help meeting up, there are 5 or 6 local guys going out and hopefully a few travelling up, everyone is welcome.

Fingers crossed for good weather on Sunday, see you all there...

Greig
