I've asked the Guys at Waterfoot to allow access to there field on 1st June.
The idea is to promote and encourage anyone interested in 3D flying to come along ..have a flight or two or even just come for the chat.
When I say 3D, I use this term very lightly and if your capable of throwing in the odd loop/roll, stall turn etc this is an ideal opportunity to meet like minded pilots.
This is not an arranged event as such but a low key friendly affair were anyone will be made most welcome.
If this format proves successfull and sufficient folk are interested we could maybe try another later in the year.

I will be spectating only , my 9254 has given up the ghost, nearly lost it, will order next week in time for the arrival of the spartan gyro, will bring the cannon instead,

Was a good day out, pity the weather stopped play. It was really encouraging to see all the new faces. The quality of flying surpassed my expectations..superb. Thanks to the guys dropping in from Aberdeen. Pauls demo of the fist production Spartan BlueLink (blue tooth) Gyro configuration in action via a PDA/Handheld PC or certain Mobile Phones..The Waterfoot guys for loaning the field and supplying the grub..Next 3D get together will be Aberdeen possibly sometime in August..looking to get into 3D..you know where to be..
