Hello all, just finished building a mini titan and I have had two flights with it, not dissapointed at all .
Its basically got the same power as my raptor 50 had maybe more, but not for long,

A 2100 mah 3s pack of unknown maufacture gives plenty of power for 3d for about 4 mins maybe 5 , is this common or what do you guys recomend for batteries, was hopeing for about 8-10 mins 3d. Stock motor by the way and radix blades running throttle curve 100% 1,2,3,4,5.

I use the Flighpower Evo Lites 3s. 5 min 3D or 10 min gentle flying.

The only thing I dont like about the wee titan is that when it hits the dirt a lot of plastic gets broken. Most guys I talk to say that if you compare a similar TREX crash with Titan crash there more bits to replace Crying or Very sad

I can imagine with the high headspeed you will need to be quick killing the motor in a crash , trex 450 is better than the titan but the titan se is probably the one to compare, its great doing backwards inverted circuits outside the front door between the lamposts and around the washing line Laughing

there a ople of nice upgrades available i noticed , a metal head and swash should help with precision slightly and carbon tail boom now the se is here, for the money a great mini heli but the guys at falkirk have had theres for an age now so i have at last caught up,
I got seriously put off by two min helis I bought which were the twister which put me off almost for good, think it was something stupid like 180 pounds ,

I had a TRex 450XL, didn't get on to well with it, tight ball links, wallowy, always out of track. I eventually upgraded to the metal head and HDE carbon frame setup. Didn't really improve much.

In the end the motor threw a magnet and caused a crash so I decided to sell it and bought a mini Titan. Never looked back since Very Happy

The only change from standard I made was to use SAB 305mm blades.

I use TP 2100 cells, they give 7 to 8 minutes of hard flying.

The blades on my titan went out of track it was the dampers, replaced them and all went well, definately needs the metal head if you are gona 3d it,
Finally got the canopy on it, was flying it for about 3 months without one, the canopy screws are to small , not proud of this its a right mess

Looks nice Stephen. I notice you have not cut out the vent holes. Do you not find the lipo getting hotter than usual? Mind you it is winter Laughing

I would have thought so Stephen.

I went the whole hog and removed all the cut outs marked.

With a little bit of scapel work, everything fits into the old TRex case, heli, transmitter, charger, 12v battery and lipos! Certainly makes life easier, as it can sit in the boot of my car and is ready whenever the opportunity presents, local parks, sports centre or school fields etc Very Happy

The case has had a bit of abuse, but the heli and gear is well protected Very Happy
