hmmm me fly am new to this whole RC heli scene think i have caught the bug and am just getting ma way round settng it up right and hovering.
was silly enough to go oot and buy maself a RC System Procopter Sport and found this a wee bit much for me at the moment and not really being able to use indoors doesn't help much, so has been shoved up the loft for the moment.
since then i have had quite a few hours on Realflight G3.5 and bought a wee Walkera 52 (which arrived today ) i know, not exactly a great beginners heli but at least it'll give me some fun indoors and get me familiar with setting up. next will be the procopter but am thinking of selling it at the moment to go towards a BL upgrade for this wee beastie then maybe in a couple of months i'll think aboot something bigger (but better this time) again |

Ahh beginner purchases, well we have pretty much all been there, my 1'st heli was a nexus which i built up, read about then stripped down before i even started it up.
The sim is the way to go for reflex learning and will serve you well when you fly for real.
As for the brushless i wouldn't spend more on it than necessary, if it's flying fine then fly it, only upgrade because you need the extra power (for 3d ) and save the cash for a bigger & better heli |

well just gave the 52 its 1st flight was going not to bad getting it trimmed oot then bang, smash wallop lol blade strike no other visable damage, blades replaced and ready to give it another go
ach i hear the motors on these wee heli's no last long and if it does burn oot quick i'll go the BL way from what i read makes quite a difference to this wee beastie |
