certainly check them, mainshaft you might have gotten away with but cross shaft probably not, others might include flybar and tail rotor output shaft although unlikley.

Check blade pitch with pitch gauge, top bottom and center stick. You need 5.5 - 6 degrees to lift off at center or 3/4 stick dependent on where you like to hover. You should have 9 - 10 degrees at the top. Have you had your pitch servo horn and link rod off the servo? You may have put it back in the wrong position. Take it off the servo, Move stick to full up pos, move pitch tray down for full pitch and re-attach the servo horn and rod to the servo. Check the pitch again with gauge. If pitch is too high at top, take the servo horn off again and rotate it up one notch on the servo shaft, check pitch again until you get 10 degrees. I hope this helps. Cheers.

going to try everything you have suggested. when trying to hover heli it tends to pitch to the left and no amount of adjustment on trim makes any difference.

Assuming no link rods are bent and you haven't adjusted the rod lengths, on the bench turn on your tranny and heli. Center all trims and look at the swash plate from the side and the front. The swash should be straight with the top of the frame in both directions. Again if you have had the aileron and elevator servo horns disconnected from their servos, you may have put them back in the wrong position. It's important to remember to have the tranny and heli turned on when you do this, so that the servos centralize. Take the horns off and straighten the swash as required, replace the horns. Job done!
