so i like the idea of the align 2in1 reg and seeing as there only £20ish quid im gonna buy one, so im thinking about the battery and as im tight i decide to bust open one of my many screwed laptop batteries, what the heck work wont miss em, anyway i look at it and see it's 14.4v 4400mah Smile

loads of flights, sweet.

Inside is 8 cells 3.6v each wired 2x4 in parallel? so i i deduce i must have 2200 mah cells?? i pull some apart and solder 2 in series? so there 7.2 and slap em on my charger, a bit messing later and there done having taken about 1800 mah, which is ok considering how long thay have sat, the next 2 i just leave in parallel and charge now thay have taken 3580 so far and are almost done...........so after some longwindedness does parallel double the capacity and series the voltage?????

i think i will have a 4 cell 4400 mah weighing about 185 grams
