Looking for some help here , I`ve been building this up for a while now using bits of every thing , Honda strimmer engine ,Kalt , Hirobo , X-cell and even logo 10 ( two old carbon booms stuck together !!! ) initial flight tests ( I`ll post a video soon ) are very good but unfortunetley the Kalt rotor shaft has a slight bend causing an annoying wobble . I have tried to straighten it with no luck . They cannot be bought new anywhere so I`m desparatley trying to find a second hand one any body out there got one (or two )to sell ? Any help would be greatly appreciated . Cheers Colin

Colin
Have you tried Midland Helis as I seem to remember them having a stock of Kalt parts. |

Cool job CT
I used to have a kalt baron 30 years ago, but can't remember why there was a slot in the shaft, was it for a collective wire to run through?
I know of a friend up here in Aberdeen that may be able to make up that type of shaft. Have you tried an X-Cell gasser main shaft to see if it is the same size? if it is, it may be possible to get the slot milled in it.
Have you tried runryder? |
