Yes, basically the throttle is closed -it can't go any further, and it revs high.
I thought throttle closed - no air getting to the engine it just wouldn't run. Not in this case! ...

Oh, and if it had a crystal, I'd include the bit of tape free, but as it hasn't, there's nowhere to stick it

Quite similar to mine....but it doesn't include a piece of tape to stop the crystal from falling out! That's what happened to my heli last week an it went 'bronco'.
Quite scary - so all you newbies ...
