Believe it or not, but this is a very "old" way that used to be recommended in learning to fly a heli, maybe 30 or more years ago!

Can't help with the main gear problems, but I learnt to fly helis ten years ago with a Morley Bell 47, with complete success, getting it from the hover into circuits in about 8 we ... |
