Hirobo have announced there newly updated Shuttle Sceadu Evolution. Prices and availability in the UK are still to be announced. When I get these I will post them here.
50 ARF model (only) has Evolution spec OS50SX-H engine. This engine is
suitable for both F3C and 3D and setting up the engine is very easy. The
engine is co-developed with OS engines MFG co.

IT EVOLVED ! FZ-4 rotor head
The FZ-IV rotor head is the result of our never ending drive to find the
perfect balance between high stability and high manoeuvrability. This head
is designed for mild mannered smooth precision flying and the harshest
of 3D oriented manoeuvres. Its smooth flying characteristics even in a 3D
environment are ideal for the discerning F3C pilot. Through two fixed
Bell/Hiller adjustments, the EVO head can be tuned as you feel necessary by changing the position of the
mixing arms.
IT EVOLVED ! Linkage and pitch up system
All linkages are ball bearing supported for smooth direct transfer of control
inputs. This is standard on both the 30 and 50 version EVO's. The EVO 50 comes with push/pull linkages on both cyclic and collective controls
for the ultimate in precision. There is no better control system designed
to capture the power of the 50 size motors and turn it into aerobatic bliss.
IT EVOLVED ! Cabin
A new vibrant decal sheet is included to aid in high altitude flights.
The cabin mounting system is improved with new rubber o rings and new
moulded
mounting posts. Cabin mounting is simple and easy. Additional internal
cabin supports keep vibrations down to a minimum.
IT EVOLVED ! 19mm Brg. holder
All Sceadu EVO have injection
moulded 19mm bearing holder as standard parts.
IT EVOLVED ! DTDS Main gear
Injection moulded Direct Tail Drive System main gear setup is standard on
the EVO 50 and an option for the EVO 30. The DTDS gear system drive the tail rotor
system at all times allowing aerobatic capability in autorotation
manoeuvres.
The tail is also driven in low power descents for positive tail control.
The gears are moulded of extremely durable plastic for low cost and high
reliability.
IT EVOLVED ! Main blades
New 600mm symmetrical main blades are standard for 50 models. All 30 models
have wood 550mm main blades.
IT EVOLVED ! Muffler
A new muffler with removable baffle is also included.
IT EVOLVED ! Fuel tank A new 480cc fuel tank has been added that is clearly visible in flight
for quick fuel level checks. The tank comes with special tank mounting
rubber feet that isolate it from motor vibrations. This new larger tank
offers substantial flight time increases for the both 30 and 50 size motors.
IT EVOLVED ! Main frame
This simple yet well thought out main frame design fits both 30 and 50
size engines. Major components like the main and clutch drive train bearing
holders are incorporated into the main frame for precise alignment and
easy assembly. To also aid in proper centre of gravity balance, a drive
train layout similar to the winning SST Eagles is used which places the
motor as far forward as it can go. The tank is mounted in the rear for
visibility as well. A new higher quality fibre reinforced engineering based
plastics' formulation is used in the new EVO main frame.
IT EVOLVED ! Engines
Both 30 and 50 size engines can be used in the Sceadu EVO. By simply changing
the motor mount, fan hub, and clutch bell, the Sceadu EVO can accept either engine. Of course, blades will need to be changed as
well for the appropriate engine size. To aid in clutch system installation,
a threaded fan hub is also used so centring of the clutch system is effortless.
